............Since, I'm taking up Literature of the World in my summer class. Then, the topic has been striking to my mind are the Functions of literature...........which should entertain, give a pleasure and enjoyment that could be tickle the funny bones of a readers or otherwise instigate tears to fall.
.................Additional information is the significance of literature that we can gain knowledge, information,thoughts and ideas. While the Literature of the World I want to know was the English and Philippine Literature, then the characteristics their emphasize in each period and also the values, knowledge, ideas, information and enjoyment give this.
